TMZ: Rapper MC Lyte Reportedly Files for Divorce from Husband after 3 Years of Marriage
Old school hip-hop icon MC Lyte is ending her marriage to her husband of three years, John Wyche— TMZ reports.
Lana Michelle Moorer, popularly known as MC Lyte, was reported to have filed for a divorce from her husband, John Wyche in L.A. on Monday. Although it has been barely three years after her marriage to the marine veteran and entrepreneur, the groundbreaking rapper is ready to call it quits.
Regarding her reason for this, Lyte had filed "irreconcilable differences," and there have been no further comments from both parties on the matter. The couple has no kids together and it is unclear whether or not a prenuptial agreement had been signed.

The 49-year old hip-hop star who was the first-ever to receive a Grammy nomination in the female solo rap category met her husband on a dating site—Match.com.
Their gorgeous wedding was an exceptional day for [MC Lyte] who described it as "beautiful" and "a fairy tale" after she welcomed her "king" into her life.
Their beautiful romance story quickly took off from there, with the relationship blossoming into engagement in months. The long-time entertainer gushed about her partner at the time, hinting to fans about the sweet love she felt for her man.
Lyte explained that she was afraid to be vulnerable while dating, however with Wyche, she could totally be herself.
